Stephen Waddington joins Lynn PR management team

Lynn PR has appointed Stephen Waddington as a Non-Executive Director as the agency continues to grow. The PR Week New Agency to Watch and PRCA DARE New Consultancy of the Year aims to diversify its client portfolio and grow the team to ten by the end of the year.

As a leading agency delivering data-driven strategic communications and behavioural science, Lynn PR has picked up several new clients over the past few months across public health, tourism, road safety, housing and local government.

Waddington’s appointment caps off a whirlwind year for Lynn PR. It has already delivered several successful campaigns and projects for the NHS in London, Bristol and Wales, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), and Mid Wales Tourism over the past 10 months.

The agency has also invested in several new positions including a Senior Account Director and Head of Business Development. It has also added several specialists to its associate roster to support campaign execution.

Waddington’s appointment to the management board will support the agency as it targets its next phase of growth. With a proven track record in growing and scaling agencies, Waddington will support the Lynn PR management team with planning, strategic decision making and execution.

Lynn PR director and principal consultant Shayoni Lynn FCIPR CMPRCA said: “At Lynn PR, we’re bold, innovative and strong. Every single team member believes in the value of strategy and insights, and measurable results, and we pride ourselves on our partnerships with clients working towards delivering campaigns and projects that make a real difference to people’s lives”.

I am delighted to welcome Stephen to the Lynn PR team today. His advocacy of strategic communications and public relations is aligned to our own values, and I am excited to see what we can achieve together working as part of the Lynn PR team.

“The agency’s proposition is built on a rock-solid combination of theory and practice and its execution for clients is world class. Its growth from zero to a team of six in less than a year speaks for itself. I’m delighted to join Shayoni Lynn and the management team to help deliver the agency’s ambitious plans,” he added.
